Random Acts of Kindness Award

I would like to thank Winnie over at Musings for nominating me for this award this week. Winnie was one of the first to welcome me to the new community and I love what this girl writes. If you haven’t had a chance to check out her blog, I recommend it. She even takes a moment in the middle of the week to do something incredible. It is called Wordless Wednesday. Sometimes silence speaks more than words.

WHAT KINDNESS HAS SHOWN ME:

Kindness is something that can be felt even when nothing is said. It is genuine and from a place humanity can forget at times. In an uncertain world the best acts of kindness for me are from mentors. People who stop and take time to hold my hand as I learn something new. I have had a few in my life and not as many as I wished. But all of these mentors seem to ease my anxiety and give me confidence where maybe I wouldn’t have been brave otherwise. That is why I can thank Winnie in her kindness and welcoming nature. And I can thank Singledust for encouraging my individuality in a world where that is not welcome.

NOMINATION

In order to spread kindness around, I am bestowing the esteemed award to the following amazing bloggers:

syncwithdeep and Singledust

syncwithdeep has a joie de vivre that I love reading and she is a light of hope in sometimes the darkest of moments.

Singledust has made me feel welcome in a world of poetry where I write prose. Thank you!

  1. Thank you Bee, such an honour to receive this nomination. you have said some really lovely things and I am truly humbled by your kindness and generosity. I don’t do awards but I will weave this into my cafe chat this weekend. I admire how you include people so effortlessly with your words of encouragement and appreciation, always so mindful of someone’s importance. I am happy you feel welcomed here and do stick around, there will be good and bad days , ride them out and you will find this is an amazing place to hone your talent.

Just a tip if you do not know yet…if you pingback to a blog home page there is no notification to the blogger, only if you pingback to a specific post on their blog.
